The NTS1000 series is an integrated touch sensor chip with on-chip environmental calibration.
It detects 6, 9, 12 capacitive sensor inputs and transmits the results to MCU using interrupts or direct ports. The NTS1000 series interfaces to external capacitance sensors implementing functions such as capacitive buttons, scroll bars and wheel. Also, the NTS1000 series reduces development time, and accelerates product introduction, therefore it lowers overall system costs.
For low-power system, it has sleep mode. When the NTS1000 series is in power sleep mode, input interrupt signals by external switches will be used for wake-up sources. This sensor is suitable for multimedia devices and electric home appliances - MP3, PMP, TV, refrigerator, audio system, microwave, doorlock, mobile phone and electronic cooker, etc.
